Apprenticeship & Training
Welcome to the BAC Local 1 Apprenticeship & Training Program
BAC Local 1 MD, VA, and DC remains dedicated to training the most proficient and safety-conscious masons to meet the rigorous demands of modern construction schedules, codes, and safety standards. As materials and industry products evolve, we stay proactive by adapting our training to ensure we have the most skilled professionals in the field.
An apprenticeship was the original degree program for learning a trade or acquiring skills and knowledge long before the advent of universities and colleges. Our federally registered training program nurtures apprentice talent by imparting essential craft mechanics, paving the way for them to become skilled masons. We offer a variety of classes that provide apprentices and journey workers with a thorough understanding of the technologies behind modern wall systems, underscoring the masons’ role in their proper construction.
