William Joseph Rovder Jr. (Butch), was a proud husband, father, brother, son and friend. He went to his heavenly home on June 12th, 2023 at the age of 62.

Butch was born April 11th, 1961, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of William Rovder and Geneva Vitullo Rovder

Butch will be deeply missed by his wife and children, Sue Baltes Rovder and Emily, Alyssa, and Amanda Rovder of South Riding, Virginia. He was one of five children in his family: Kim Kesner, Geneen Montgomery, Dan Rovder and Ron Kessler.

He was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, class of 1979. Shortly after graduation, he started his career working at Republic Steel alongside his father. He went on to have an extremely successful career for over 35+ years in the masonry and stonework industry; as a nationwide expert, leading, teaching, and sharing his expertise across trades.

He was a former parishioner of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Aldie.

Most of all, Butch will fondly be remembered by as a very caring man who loved his children, playing and watching sports, and coaching deeply. He was a devoted husband and father, always supporting everyone’s goals and passions.

The funeral mass will be on Wednesday, June 21st, at 11:00am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 41685 Corpus Christi Drive. Aldie, Virginia, United States.
